Looks Who’s Talking
Look who’s on the move and talking!!
Our little man began crawling (a bit) over the weekend. He also said his first “word”… Dadda! He’s a mini-version of his dad, so it’s only fitting. As for crawling, he’s still doing it begrudgingly… He hasn’t figured out yet that his new skill makes him mobile, and would much prefer standing up and walking around the room–with mommy’s help of course! My prediction–he’ll be walking solo by Thanksgiving (10months old).
“Mama” will follow soon I promise! Just watch Michelle!
PS: Da Da Video was funny!
Thanks, 1Artist. I was very diplomatic over the last 7 1/2 months saying both “mama” and “dada”… no more! It’s only “mama” out of my mouth!!
It is “technically” easier for them to say DaDa. I was surprised that my son said DaDa first also. Then I just realized he was communicating the only way he knew. He said MaMa a month later, and it was the sweetest thing I have ever heard! Very gratifying after all that work LTS. Sometimes it seems like they are trying to tell a story when they talk. I soon discovered my son had a terrific sense of humor also. It’s coming! Wait till he gets to the WHY? stage, it is so funny. I think that is around 2-3 years.

PS: My son’s first words were Dada, Mama, LawnMower! (He loved to watch his Dad mow!)
