Cicilline has over $700,000 in the bank; no word from Doherty
Congressman David Cicilline raised $316,000 for his reelection campaign from Jan. 1 through March 31, finishing the first quarter with more than $700,000 on hand, a spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Republican Brendan Doherty’s campaign said an estimate of the challenger’s first-quarter fundraising haul wouldn’t be available until later in the week. Doherty had $482,327 on hand as of Dec. 31 and was ahead of Cicilline by double-digits in February’s WPRI 12 poll.
Cicilline took on his critics Tuesday in an exclusive one-on-one interview with WPRI 12′s Tim White. Watch highlights from the conversation at 6 p.m.
