To all elected members of the General A$$embly, Senate and other levels of government they are called “Sunshine Laws”. Sunshine is one of the best treatments for diseased bodies such as the General A$$embly other Rhode Island government bodies. They have been around for approximately 40 years. They work, the boss system that Rhode Island is one big failure. Right now how many square feet of commercial space is vacant or abandoned in Rhode Island? How many houses right now are being foreclosed or are in shortsales? The number of these sales is increasing while home prices are losing 6% per month. If you don’t change you maybe forced out of office which I would love to see. Most of you belong in jail for the crimes you commited while supposedly representing the people of Rhode Island.

Also South Dakota where many, many Banks are headquartered.

It all comes down to RI having embedded labor costs for State employees and muni employees.

They can’t make meaningful changes without addressing that.

Too bad Rhode Island’s business laws are not as or more liberal than Delaware. Rhode Island then would be headquaters to most of the fortune 500 companies. Instead Rhode Island has some of the crappiest pizza joints and pasta houses on the Eastern Seaboard.
