Average mid-June Weather Ahead

We’re getting to the time of year where being “average” can be pretty great! The “normal” temperatures for  June 11 at TF Green Airport are 76 for a high and 57 for a low.. and it looks like that’s about the temperature range for today!  Add mainly sunny skies, low humidity and storm-free weather, and the result is some great weather to begin the work week!

There will be a southeast breeze today, which will keep the coast a bit cooler than inland areas and will, overall, bring our high temperatures down a few degrees from yesterday’s highs.

If you earn a living working outdoors, or work/live in a building without air conditioning, you’ll be happy with the forecast for this week… it looks like we’ll be able to keep the extreme heat and humidity at bay, with temperatures forecasted to reach highs in the mid and upper 70s most afternoons.  Showers are in the forecast for mid-week from a slow-moving cold front.  Behind the front, another batch of dry, comfortable air settles in for the end of the week and weekend.
