We’re heading into the final weekend of Spring… and the weather will not disappoint… plenty of sun, dry air and comfortable temperatures… with afternoon highs running just a bit cooler than average.

I’ve heard a couple of complaints about the “cool summer  so far”… but I’m here to remind you that we’re still in the calendar version of spring… and just 2 weeks into the meteorological version of summer!  In fact, this has been a spring that has seemed to go on forever, as the wimpy winter months this year had us enjoying an “early spring” way back in February!  But I also haven’t heard the typical complaints about “skipping spring” either… there’s be no switch flipped that’s brought high heat and humidity soaring into our area…. yet.  The result has been a comfortable and pretty average (albeit, at times cool and damp) beginning to June. This weekend will be dry and pleasant each afternoon, with cool dry nights.

Our computer models are starting to come into better agreement about next week’s weather… with signs pointing to a hot start to the first few days of summer.  It’s even possible that some inland areas could see the first 90°+ day of the year.
