CVS Charity Classic will Feature Some Classic June Weather

Held at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, RI (where I once worked, by the way), the CVS Charity Classic is always a big draw….and the weather will help draw the crowds in this year.  In years past, there have been downpours and drizzle.  This year, however, looks great each day.

With golf stars like Peter Jacobsen, Billy Andrade, Brad Faxon, Dana Quigley, Annika Sorenstam and Julie Inkster on the course, this year’s Classic will surely be a success.

The ProAm is today, Sunday, and will feature some coolish weather with highs around 70.  The average high for the date is 78, so we’ll be a bit below normal.  Monday will start with lots of clouds and those clouds will likely stick around for awhile through the day.  High temps will be a smidge higher though.  On Tuesday, the humidity will be creeping back up along with the temps, but it will stay dry.

The next several days look great here in Southern New England and the nice, but hotter weather, will continue into the end of the week.

Happy Father’s Day!
