Breezes will start from then nothwest today, then should shift to the southwest into the afternoon.  Southwest breezes can be tricky because they don’t usually cool off the entire coast.  Notice that most spots go into the 80s, even at the coast.  Areas that are sometimes subject to cooling from the southwest breeze are locations like Newport, Jamestown, and Little Compton.  That’s why you see that sliver of 70s in that region (although even those spots may hit around 80 by the late morning).
