July 4th Rain Chances..
While the weather looks fine for all activities tonight, there could be some problems on the 4th.
There are sooooo many things going on….parades, celebrations, BBQ’s and fireworks, so I figured I’d break down the precipitation chances for the day with a neat little graph.
First, early in the morning, there is the chance for some showers and t’storms to be rumbling through the region as warm and humid air pushes into New England. These storms should be winding down by 8am. Bottom-line, bring the ponchos if you are going to be waiting in Bristol.
Once the warm front pushes through, we should begin to see some hazy sunshine by late morning and we’ll have less of a chance of rain. Mid-day looks like it’ll be the driest. As the sunshine goes to work, some more showers and t’storms could be developing, and we’ll have a higher risk of rain between 3 and 6pm….diminishing after about 7pm. Fireworks for tomorrow night look okay, but there is the possibility of some fog.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
