Comfortable Stretch Ahead…July 8th, 2012 at 10:52 pm by T.J. Del Santo under General Talk, Tony's Pinpoint Weather Blog
Yesterday’s humidity was pretty uncomfortable, but today’s (Sunday’s) was a little more bearable. The 10° change in the dewpoint temperature made all the difference in the world! The graph below shows the how the dew point fel throughout the day.
Again, the dew point is a direct measurement of the amount of moisture in the air. If it’s above 60°, you’ll start to notice it.
As of 11pm, the dew points to our north were very low….50′s …even 49° in Concord, NH! We’ll be seeing that dry air work southward through the day on Monday.
The weather pattern for the next several days will be such that we won’t be seeing very humid air in place….so the week ahead looks pretty comfortable with seasonably warm temperatures (80-85°) and low humidity.
The humidity will begin to make a come back as the Bermuda High makes a come back late in the week.
Enjoy the respite from the humidity!
