We have several fronts passing through on Sunday which will give us the chance of a few showers or thunderstorms.   The strongest of the fronts will pass through tonight (not until after 8PM).  If you don’t want rain to spoil outdoor plans, that could be good news.  After 8PM, we will lose some of the day’s heating, and heat often acts as fuel for a thunderstorm.  So even though the front will be moving through tonight, it won’t have as much heat to work with.  Yes, the threat of showers and even a strong storm will be there…..but as you can see from the graph below, the chance will be small. -Pete Mangione
