Wow!  What a wild afternoon yesterday!  Severe thunderstorms brought numerous reports of hail, strong winds and torrential downpours. Here’s a map of the storm reports from yesterday.

The storms fired up along a cold front, which has done it’s job in replacing the sultry air of earlier this week, with a more refreshing, seasonable air mass for today through the weekend.  The fronts close enough early today to bring a few light showers in spots. As the front moves further away, skies will turn partly sunny and drier air will filter in.  High temperatures today will be about 10° cooler than yesterday.
