The City Cam picture as of 8AM Saturday morning from Providence shows that temperatures in the 70 combined with dewpoints in the 70s often means fog!  Inland areas should burn the fog off by mid morning, the coast may take a bit longer.  Even into the afternoon, I wouldn’t be surprised if places like the city of Newport are sunny overhead, but as you enter the beach parking lot you encounter some fog.  I do expect some sun to be able to poke through that fog.  Fog or no fog, the beach is the place to be today with the heat and humidity! -Pete Mangione
