Less Humid Air Moves in Today…August 6th, 2012 at 8:23 am by Michelle Muscatello under General Talk, Tony's Pinpoint Weather Blog
It’s been a stifling stretch of weather with high humidity and hot summer temps… but some (temporary) relief is on the way! In fact, a cold front is sweeping through southern New England this morning… and it will bring much more comfortable air to our area starting with this afternoon. Here’s a look at the dew point temperatures, which will fall rapidly through the day.
That will set us up for a much more comfortable night for sleeping. Dry air, clear skies and light winds should allow temperatures to fall to near 60-65 by dawn . While Tuesday will be a very nice day with continued low humidity, the muggy air returns for Wednesday.
