Beautiful Today, But Changes are Ahead
It’s been a gorgeous morning…. abundant sun, dry air and comfortable temperatures… noticeable relief from the sticky air that weighed heavily on us all weekend. We’ll keep the humidity low through the day, and the dry air means little in the way of clouds AND rain-free conditions. All the ingredients are coming together to make this the “pick of the week”.
As much as we’d love this weather to extend into the end of the week and the weekend, there will be changes in the days ahead.
The first change you’ll notice tonight will be the humidity creeping up. Warm temps and muggy air greet us on Wednesday and Thursday. While there is a small chance of a thunderstorm by the end of the day on Thursday, most of the day looks dry. The same cannot be said for Friday and Saturday. Our computer guidance continue to show a slow-moving cold front making it’s way through the Northeast during this time, with waves of low pressure riding along it. That means an unsettled… even stormy pattern for us. If the scenario plays out as expected, we would see widespread showers–especially Friday night through Saturday night with embedded thunderstorms. Some heavy downpours, would be possible, too. We’ll keep you updated!
