Relief!
After an ultra-muggy weekend it’s a nice change to wake-up on this Monday to blue skies and a drop in the humidity. If you have a long weekend due to Victory Day, then you are lucking out…. the weather looks great for a day at the beach, pool or any remembrance ceremonies. Temperatures are still expected to be very warm as highs climb into the mid to upper 80s inland.
The weather looks quiet again tomorrow day before we’ll be dealing with a cold front approaching on Wednesday, giving us a threat of a few passing showers and thunderstorms.
The outlook heading into the second half of August shows much cooler than average weather in the Central USA–they already had a touch of Autumn in the air this weekend…. but it doesn’t look like that cool down will stretch into New England.
The Climate Prediction Center has our area under warmer than average conditions through August 22.
And it looks like a potentially wetter-than-normal pattern along the East Coast, too.
