Up and Down Chances of Showers

August 17th, 2012 at 2:05 pm by under Tony's Pinpoint Weather Blog

It seems like we have had quite a few weekends lately with very tricky forecasts.  This weekend is no different! A front moves through tonight (Friday night) and then stalls just offshore on Saturday.  Showers and thunderstorms will try to use this front just like a train track.  Much in the same way that there is NOT always a train on the track, there won’t be showers around the entire day.  However, some periods of thunderstorms and downpours and possible.  Here is a breakdown of the most likely times to see rain this weekend.  The “Tonight” part refers to very late night (after midnight). -Pete Mangione
