Snowing Already…For Some

Good Evening…

Early season snow in October is not that unusual for locations along the US-Canadian border. Take a look at the snowfall accumulation map now thru Sunday evening which shows a large swath of accumulations.Map from WeatherBell Analytics

What does this mean for us??  Well it cant snow without cold air…this shot of chilly air across the upper Lakes is headed our way for the later half of the weekend. It wont be  a “winter chill”  for us, but it will turn sharply cooler Sunday and Columbus day Monday. Unfortunately it still looks wet on Sunday. I am seeing indications now the rain may start a little later on Sunday..an afternoon start rather than early morning. Monday still looks dry with some sun…..Tony Petrarca
