Thursday Evening Sandy Update..
Good Evening…
Data I have been analyzing continues to point to Sandy having a significant impact in our area. While we are still 72-96 hours out from stormy weather (meaning still some degree of uncertainty), we are seeing less disagreement amongst the data in terms of the storm turning east and heading out to sea. Take note of map below….each colored line represents a forecast track…many are aiming at areas along the mid Atlantic to Southern New England coast..The time table for stormy weather is Monday and Tuesday..

Potential Impacts include coastal flooding during multiple high tide cycles..Heavy Rains, Strong Damaging winds, Power Outages. The magnitude of these will be determined by the exact storm track, so a lot of fine tuning of the forecast will need to be done next few days.
