Wintry start to December…but it’s temporary

Some light snow this morning will change over to rain into the afternoon.  Northern Rhode Island will hold onto the flakes the longest, perhaps into the mid afternoon before changing over.  Little to no accumulatoin is expected.  Most areas will see a coating on the grass, car tops, and a few of the side roads.  In northern and western RI (especially north and west of 295), a few isloated 1 inch amounts are possible.  Below is a picture from our City Cam at 9AM this morning….a very festive way to start December before mild weather takes over tomorrow! -Pete Mangione
