Clouds and rain can be a pain to drive in, but when they move through overnight they can actually keep temperatures a little milder.  Clouds act like a blanket, and keep heat at the surface from escaping back into the atmosphere.  That’s the situation we had Friday night, and it will be similar for tonight and Sunday night.  While a lot of people are hoping for snow and cold, we might as well look at the positive….You will probably save a few bucks on the heating bill over the next few nights. -Pete Mangione
