Smithfield firm ‘deeply disappointed’ by Chafee tax proposal

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) – Drug manufacturer Alexion Pharmaceuticals is criticizing Governor Chafee’s proposal to sharply reduce the generosity of a tax credit he offered them just three months ago in exchange for agreeing to keep jobs in the state.

    The State needs to keep promises that it has made in the recent past. Phase it out.

    Good job governor goofball, way to keep jobs in the state. Now the next time this pathetic stinkhole offers tax credits to get some decent jobs in this sewer they will just laugh and laugh and point at this and take the jobs somewhere else.
