Thundersnow Being Reported

We have received multiple reports of thundersnow in Cranston.  Also, reports of thundersnow in Riverside, Franklin and Falmouth. Intense bands of snow are beginning to move into Southern New England as the storm intensifies offshore.

Our lightning tracker is picking up on cloud-to-ocean lightning.

    Three to four thundersnow in Barrington in the last 20min…I was shoveling some snow and the sky had a flash of blue…thurndersnow? I think so…so I went inside.

      We live in Barrington, and we also saw the bright blue flashes of light at the same time that Carolyn did. Maybe twenty minutes later we lost power all together and noticed that one of our large trees was split in three and was strewn about the yard. It is still there! Very strange…
