Who put that kind of fear into the kids? Can’t see a parent doing that?

Having to step up. Having to work extremly hard. Having to develop drive and determination are only a few characteristics required to get through life. Life is very hard, nothing comes easy. When you work hard and push yourself to succeed you apreciate your gains in life much more. No one likes not to succeed. It hurts and depresses you. Whining and crying, kicking and screaming will get you no where.

It is time public school teachers be held accountable. It is time they learn what the rest of us who work in the private sector know, you either perform or your gone. Now it is time to remove tenure and give school vouchers. I want all the money I paid to send my kids to parochial school since the Rhode Island public schools are a place kids go to get warehoused. I also want all my car tax money back since that is extortion. The money can come from the public sector retirees including the public school teachers, cops and firemen. It can also come from the people in the jobs named by taking a 25% pay cut. If they don’t like they can come join us in the private sector and learn what work really is.
