Four years ago, when the Patriots played the Giants, I was working in Syracuse, NY watching the Super Bowl alone in my apartment. Today, the Patriots play the Giants again. This time, I am watching the game in the stadium with 70,000+ people. What a difference four years makes. Feeling very blessed to be here.

Yes there is a beach in Indianapolis! Well, at least there was one today for the Celebrity Beach Bowl. We saw New Englanders Maria Menounos and Rhode Island’s own DJ Pauly D. We also saw Archie and Peyton Manning, Snoop Dogg, Warren Moon, Cam Newton and others! Check out my story tonight at 10 and 11

James Gale of Falmouth, MA gets to bring out the game ball during Super Bowl 46. He is afraid he will trip on the field in Lucas Oil Stadium. But I think he will be fine!

Usually I edit and write pretty much wherever I find a free spot. Today I opted for the Super Bowl media work room. It’s nice. Lots of other writers, reporters and editors working fast to meet deadlines! I feel at home. I am also sitting across from Carl Stevens from WBZ radio. We met at the AP Awards last year when he butchered my name
. I reminded him of that. He had a good laugh. I think we’re friends.

I went to the airport today and found lots of Rhode Islanders coming in to town for the big game. Finally, the few Pats fans here get some support!

Nneka named to Bleacher Report's Lovliest Ladies of Media Day Super Bowl 2012
I am shooting all of my stories (and wearing sneakers with dress clothes), so I certainly haven’t felt lovely this week. Needless to say, making the Bleacher Report’s list of the Super Bowl’s Loveliest Ladies of Media Day was flattering!

As wounded Dighton Vet Greg Reynolds Prepares for his flag football game with some of the NFL’s greats, he and I had a little push-up challenge. You’ll have to watch at 6 to see who won.

AFC-NFC Love… And no, I don’t mean the Patriots and Giants! We found a man who says he is the BIGGEST Pats fan in Indy. He happens to be married to a Colts fan. They say they are divorced a few hours every year when their teams play… But it’s all in good fun!

Chris Coyne is the Catholic Bishop of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He is also a huge Patriot’s fan! He just moved here from Boston a year ago and people joke that he had something to do with the Pats making it to Super Bowl 46 in Indy (perhaps divine intervention?). Bishop Coyne says he had nothing to do with it! He also can not wait to watch the game at Lucas Oil Stadium this weekend!

Got back to the hotel and found this Welcome to Indiana packet, drawing from a local school student, water and two cookies! The student wrote that he loves Indiana’s weather, restaurants, and of course, football games! And yes, I realize there is only one cookie in the picture. That’s because I already ate one! It was good! A+ for Hoosier Hospitality so far!
